Hi Rod,

As you know, there is a high demand of search/upload/finding gif image to upload/comment in facebook recently.

So I request two stuffs:

1/ A filter in the sub menu (beside oldest, most viewed...) to filter gif image
2/ Add a mark layer in the listing page for the gif images (a play button with the text "gif" inside maybe), so user can easy recognize the gif images.

I will add a "animated gif" section in the explorer section but not a filter like you suggested.
 
I never mentioned a category for animated GIF images. I mentioned a section in the Explorer menu.
