Because I have updated from Chevereto 2 again and again, there are a lot of useless files in the directory. I would like to reinstall version 4 and import the images from version 3. Is the whole thing possible?

Of course.
Provide a new installation connected to the same database used by Chevereto V3. From there, you only need to move/copy the user generated content to V4. The user generated content you need to pay attention is at
/images and /content/images/users, and your pages are at /content/pages.Note that the V4 database won't be compatible with V3. Backup first!

After the installation is complete, "Page not found" is displayed directly. After that nothing works. No login is possible, the page looks like a raw installation. Is there no way to start a new installation and import everything?
