Currently, medium image fixed dimension support width and height, so When I see a horizontal and vertical image, the image resolutions are not unified. Some image looks low resolution, some are not.
How about providing automatic options?
The image dimension based on longest one. If width is longer than height, the medium image would be resized by width.
For example,
Let's just say both images are taken horizontally vertically with same camera.
If we set medium image fixed dimension by width or height, we will get different resolution md-images. 25% and 12.5%
But with longest one, we will get same resolution. 25%
