Fatal error: app/install is outdated

When I logged in to my Admin account this morning I saw that an update was available. I clicked the link to update to 3.12.8 and, after several minutes, received the fatal error notice. My site is now in maintenance mode and unavailable for users to upload images. I asked TMDHosting if they could assist me and I was informed that they could not resolve my issue and instructed me to contact Chevereto.

It gives you pretty clear instructions to fix the issue.
Download chevereto 3.12.8 from your account - https://chevereto.com/panel
Unzip it on your computer and upload it to your server using a ftp client like filezilla. The FTP access credentials can be obtained from TMDhosting cPanel.
 
I agree that the instructions were pretty clear -- my problem was that I didn't know how to implement them.

TMDHosting has walked me through the process and the update is now complete.
