Face-detection for particular categories.

Can we have a face-detection feature on particular categories?

I reckon this idea would be great since humans are photogenic.
 
There is no way to put a right context just because you detected a face. Therefore, unless there is available a really good algorithm in the future this will remain as out of scope.
 
Is there any open source one? 🙄

Because when we upload portrait picture with face, the thumbnail displayed is just his/her belly 😕
