Desktop Application

👽 Chevereto Freak
Hey guys,

I intented to make a desktop application for Chevereto before the end of August,
and I wanted to know what you would like to see in this application.

For now, what I have thought of is :

a button to select one/multiple files -> added to the list
Drag and Drop over a desktop icon -> Open the programs and uploaded the specifed files
Drag and Drop inside the application -> Add files to a list to be uploaded later
Config for every images -> Like a button to specify the size if wanted to be resized.
a button to clear the list or selected items
a button to uploads the list

Anything else should be added?

After a multiple upload, how should images links be display?

This just for your own use?

Intend to release it for Cheverto Users?

Going to Charge? or not sure yet?

It will be killer if you can add a capture screen thing.

Nice idea, that will be my first update after the release =P

How would this work? An executable? Installer...?

Weill, I don't know yet, but I would prefer to make an simple executable... but you know... life is a bitch 😉

Simple Executable with like an ini file or something that sets our website url and key. (Config) and we can use a simple free installer.

Ironically, This was my idea of doing this for people too, but I don't program in that field, so I did consider hiring a programmer with a list of features.

Anyway, I found some other Desktop Applet's that were made for you to get some idea's off of it.

This is IMGCrave's - Desktop Applet (IMGCrave.com)

IMGCap is a free desktop applet that functions with IMGCrave. The applet will allow you to press a hot key you designate, capture your screen (or portions there of) and paste the image around the web. It is as easy as "Control +F1" then "Control +V." IMGCap will also allow you to have the applet start on system startup as well as play a sound indicating that the image you captured has been uploaded. Venture down to the IMGCrave icon near your clock, right click, and you'' be able to see your history. Allowing you to go back to images you recently uploaded.
