Demo question - Album and category surfing navigation?

Hi,

I went to the demo site to see. I wanted to surf 1 category, say animals for example, then I clicked on an image. However, there was no navigation to go to back and fort within that category. I tried another image and saw two navigator signs on the sides of the image, letting me go next and back. I found out that any picture posted by guests have no navigation, on the other hand, pictures posted by an user within an album have navigation.

Is this intended? I do think that not having navigation to go to the next image is somewhat annoying. Users have to go back, then click on individual image in a category.
