Delete Inactive Image

Hi All,

We have the option to delete guest images after a few days or month or a year. It would be nice to add another option to delete inactive images for guest or users by days, month or year.

If the image didn't get hit on its image viewer URL, then it is inactive.

Thanks for pointing it out, I can see the author has said he will add it in the script a few years back. It will be easier for everyone to automate it if it is available in the backend.

The point is that such addition becomes meaningless if you already have an alternative that will take you 1 minute to do it.

This doesn't mean that it won't be implemented (we have a section for those), it just means that is not the time yet.

Right, but one minute on a daily basis and it may lead to human error when doing it manually.

And after a year or so, we need to prune images that are 365 days old with XX views. Now every new day passes we will have 1000s of images to be deleted daily if a website gets 1000s of images uploaded daily.

Example:

23/06/2022, It will delete 23/06/2021 images (1000+)
24/06/2022, It will delete 24/06/2021 images (1000+)

And it goes on

Let more people vote for it and so it gets added 🙂
