Data Migration

Hello,

I am moving my site to another host, Chevereto Dashboard tells me my site has 15GB of data, cpanel does the same, but when i transfer all the files using ftp to my drive (RDP), it sizes around 1.3GB and many images are not in there, so what am i missing? what's the proper way to do that? or it supposed to be this way?

Thanks.

Does you web hosting provider provide a control panel such as cPanel?

You shouldn't have an issue downloading all of your content via FTP, in your case I would hazard to guess you didn't select the correct (or all the correct) directories via FTP before you began the download.

Most likely the backup is not being made properly. You should try using rsync.
