Cron Job is not working to delete images from external storage/Auto delete uploads

As per the instructions given in the document, we created a cron job at the server level but cli.php is not accessible, some code in the .htaccess file is blocking the cli.php file. hence cron job is not working.

The .htaccess is only used on Apache context. When you run PHP cli there's no conflict with these rules.

I suggest you to refer the system requirements to your system administrator.
