Count the traffic generated by users and set a controllable range value

Configuring the monthly upper limit of user traffic can effectively control the use of a single user traffic within a certain range, avoiding the use of large traffic and causing others to fail to use it normally.

Do you mean, the admin can set the bandwidth limit for every user account?

If that's the case, we need to store the statistics of the images time-based (minute, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) so you can set more limits like (minute, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly).

Also note that statistics can be stored only for the images which are viewed via image URL and not via hotlinked, and for that, you need to do a custom setup.

What if the images are being served through a CDN? That requires an API call behind the scenes to query each specific image, unless you can batch call.

If the files were local, this would be easier to implement.

If it is served via CDN and those who use CDN needs to do their custom setup. I believe if Chevereto can implement this on local level and it will be good for others to customize it for their need.
