How does contact page works? i as a guest sent a radom message. using the contact page on site. and didnt got any email on the email i registered while installing chevereto. so on which email does the message goes to?

Have you setup email within the admin dashboard on this page:

dashboard => settings => email

Make sure the "From email address" field is completed plus all the email settings at the bottom of the page. If possible use SMTP.
