I've been looking around in Chevereto for a couple of days now and registered today. Despite missing some instrumental features that I need I'm loving the look and feel. There are obviously new features comming which are very exciting, I'd like one added, preferebly in the near future, if that is possible.

A better social media integration is vital for web sites expecially images that gets shared often all around the world. I'd like to see a comment & Facebook comment integration. First I belive there is a need for user registration so my suggestion would propably need other thing to be taken care of.

There is a mod that implements user registration. Facebook comments can be added manually, very easily.

I'm also waiting for the next release, but that's because of the new folder system and file manager.

I'm not a big fan of 3th party modules especially something as important as registration. A seamless, built-in comment and registration feature what I would prefer instead of modding & hacking.

I have my eyes on this software and will purchase as soon as it hit the main features that will make this script mature enough for me to install.

I've been watching it for years, as have others. The username system is solid so unless you want to wait a really long time, just go with the 3rd party mods.

Nobody is going to rush a project because you don't think it's mature enough lol

Some troll you are 🙂 Who said anything about me wanting to rush anybody? As for the module that you are referring to, read my post where I explained why I wouldn't want to go that direction.

I shared my 2 cents as I belive anybody here is free to do. So stop trolling around and find yourself a better job. I'm sure you will find a better topic to hijack.

Facebook comments and likes only need a valid url to work, you put some code and the thing works instantly. Facebook do all the id, moderation, whatever on their own (they use your url as the id).

So is pretty easy, just go to developers.facebook.com

I appreciate your answer, setting up a page on facebook is pretty straightforward. But if it's easy enough why not make it as an option in the system?

I imagine you have lot of stuff to do, but I think a built-in feature would go better compared to the other option.

You are right, I have a ton of code to do before thinking on this. But as I say before, you only need to include html code and is done.

Since is a feature that it will be hooked on the theme, is not a system option/feature. I can bundle a demo or something on the default theme.

I will do this for 2.1 because is easy to do it and it seems that the people don't really know how easy and trivial this can be done... Well, good news for me because it can be a pretty nice function that it will take me less than 5minutes to implement 😛

Nice to hear for dummies like me 🙂 Thank you Rodolfo for picking up the idea 🙂
