Cheverto plus a forum questions

I'm just getting started, and have Chevereto setup, but am considering a forum to connect to it for the topic.

When you connect Chevereto to a forum using PUP, would you disable the native uploader in the forum?
Does it connect users between the two in anyway?
Can anyone share an example of where they've connected them? (Doesn't matter which type of forum).
 
PUP works on the client layer, it is basically a shortcut that avoids your end user to open a new web browser tab, go to your Chevereto installation, upload, copy, paste.

Is just a shortcut for that action and it doesn't tie anything else. It won't disable the target forum uploader, neither it will link the images with your forum users.
