Hello everyone,

There have been some bumps with the v4.2 update. Release 4.2.2 should address lots of issues, give it a try.

If you encounter a “Something went wrong” message, please follow the troubleshooting steps and submit a report.

If you’re an active client affected by this update cycle, feel free to reach out, and we will fix your site free of charge. Just get in contact with your username/email and website access details. If you need urgent assistance, you can purchase the installation service (the most affordable option), and I’ll ensure your site is running within the day.

As compensation, I’ll add a complimentary ticket to your account, redeemable at your convenience.

Thank you for your patience, and I look forward to you enjoying the new features soon.

Should everyone roll back? Even the ones who didn't have problems?
My update went fine and I am not having any issues. I am using
Mariadb 10.16.19
php 8.3.12

@mar Your infrastructure setup closely matches the officially supported Chevereto system, so the release should work as expected. Currently, tags functionality is only fully supported on certain systems and not on MySQL. I’ve paused distribution to ensure MySQL compatibility because we aim for all users to benefit equally from these updates—everyone should enjoy the full experience, or no one does.

Bummer, gone for a week and you come to the news that there's an issue. Pretty sure my installation would've been fine seeing as mariadb and PHP 8.1 have been the default for my server.

I've updated this topic with more relevant information. Hope 4.2.2 does the trick.
