Chevereto cheap CDN integration - $0,01 /GB ?

kamildevpl

Chevereto Noob
Cheap CDN - https://www.runabove.com/storage/object-storage.xml
  • Incoming traffic: FREE
  • Outgoing traffic: $0,01 /GB
  • Replicated 3 times
  • All other operations are free
  • OpenStack API storage (Swift)

RunAbove has been created by the OVH Group. "With a $10 million investment from OVH, taking advantage of both OVH infrastructures and RunAbove's vision to empower developers."

Amazon S3 vs RunAbove

1 file - 1 GB, 5000 downloads

Amazon S3:
5000 GB x $0.0319 per GB = 159.5 $ + 0.0324 $ storage

PUT, COPY, POST, or LIST Requests $0.0054 per 1,000 requests
GET and all other Requests $0.0043 per 10,000 requests

RunAbove:
5000 GB x $0.01 per GB = 50$ + 0.01 $ storage

All other operations are free

Not to be rude but why people can't understand the difference between CDN and storage services? CDN is for distribution, Amazon S3 and RunAbove are for storage. You need to put a CDN on top of the storage to get the real deal.
