If I buy Chevereto 2.2.3 now, will I also get the updates for 3.0 and higher when it comes out? Or will I have to buy a new license?

pretty sure you get to update all the way, since it's the same software 🙂
i didn't pay any extra for the last update.
 
Yes, when you buy a Chevereto licence, you get all future updates to the product.
 
I'd really advise you to get your license now. The more time passes, Rodolfo (creator/founder of Chevereto) will bring out more updates and raise the price. As of right now, you get a lifetime of updates, but Rodolfo could easily decide that in the future new clients would have to pay extra for updates and such. If you buy it now while the 'lifetime of updates' is still valid, you'll at least get the script and all of the future versions for the same price 😉.

If you buy it now you will have lifetime updates and support for just 49 USD. As Guneyd says is most likely that in future releases the price will be increased (actually the original price was 30 USD) so if you have the money now you should go for it. I will never charge again or apply a fee over the clients who get the script in the past. I've been with this project from 5 years and the commercial version has like 14 months and no one has been charged again.
