Cannot update to beta due to license error

My site was running 3.10.8 and was able to update it to 3.11.1 without any issues. Then I tried to update it to the latest beta as follows. I think I am missing the beta license as per the log. So this may not be a bug.

1. Added updater.php and class.settings.php
2. Opened https://gifyu.com/update
3. Update failed

I cheated the updater by commenting out the license check and manually downloading from https://chevereto.com/panel/downloads/?get=3.12.0.beta.2 and uploaded it to /app/install/update/temp. Successfully updated to 3.12.0.beta.2

This is a known issue, easy fixed by doing manual install. I just pinned a thread about this, hope it helps others: https://chevereto.com/community/threads/manual-install.10371/
