Can not create a new php page

🎯Description of the issue

Can not create a new php page. This one does not register and the php code is deleted.

Note : fresh new install

▶🚶‍Reproduction steps
  1. Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add page
  2. Try to create a new page.
    1. Choose an URL key and File path
    2. Add some php code to Source code, exemple : <?php echo 'hello' ?>
  3. Save changes
😢Unexpected result

The page is not created and the form is blank.

📃Error log message

No error
 
Make sure write premissions are correctly set on folder where it creates the page php file. If it does not have that, then it cannot create the missing php file with your content. This might be problem to why it becomes empty after saving. Since it cannot create the file.
 
Coud be mod_security or any module avoiding sending the content of the page. You have to realize that create PHP pages is somehow a risky thing if not made properly, so is not odd that some server module blocks that.

In your case, simply create empty pages and upload the actual page.php using FTP.
