You need to provide the actual PHP error log, not PHP-FPM log.

Let me guess:

1. You updated the files and you got redirected to /install
2. At /install, you saw a long SQL message. You thought, "this is not important" and you ignored the message
3. You just broke the system

Do please refer to the documentation and don't ignore any update message neither update instruction.
