Automatic Tagging or Updated API w/ Edit Support (+ Tags)

After a tagging system is added, it would be cool if there was a quick way to create tags automatically. One way of doing this is through Google/Amazon/Microsoft/etc.'s Video Intelligence APIs that can watch the videos automatically and add relevant tags. A similar set up would apply to images. Alternatively, an update to the API that allows for editing of titles/descriptions for media as well as tags would allow for the development of a separate tagging script that iterates through the media and updates the tags. This would probably be a more ideal solution, as it is not specific to any video intelligence platform.

PhotoPrism does something similar to this, although with it's own model that is built in, which is limited and inaccurate. Being able to use a paid service would be substantially better.

wow this sounds amazing. So it means I will no longer need to add hashtags? On social media I always add hashtags. Im sure eventually AI will scan the image or video and add automatic hashtags.
I haven't seen anyone implement this in any site I visit

Yes, one of the reasons for adding tags to Chevereto is to get auto tagging later on.

AI will scan the image or video and add automatic hashtags.

That's the idea, similar to how External storage works you could plug your any AI and Chevereto will send the query and append the detected tags.

The AI could be local, a third party service, etc. The idea is to just plug what you need and not jail this in any single way.
