Asking Chinese community the term "image bed"

Hey there,

For some time I've wondered what does it means the term "image bed" as when I see Chevereto in Chinese websites, it always includes that description. If I've to guess I believe that it means base? Like "software base to build...".

I will like to know what it means, there are plenty Chinese users here so I hope someone can explain this to me (that way I could build better keywords for SEO).
