Album Drop Down Selection - Alphabetical Order

Hi Guys,

Presently when you are moving images to an album or between albums the drop down for selecting the album you want to move the images to appears to be in chronological order which I find counter intuitive and a big time waster especially when you have a lot of albums.

I propose it be changed to alphabetical making it much easier to locate the album one desires.

Actually this has been bugging me for some time and I'm not sure if is that the case. Way I'm see it, some will prefer the chronological order while others will prefer the alphabetical order.

I think that there should be a mixed list with recent albums + alphabetical order.

Gotcha!

I can definitely users preferring it both ways depending on what they are trying to accomplish.

What about adding two "buttons" to the side of the drop down allowing the user to select their preference and then have the drop down automatically update "on click"?

Something like ABC and 123 for the buttons?
 
No updates. I just released 3.7.0 so no updates on this.

Quite frankly, that comment makes no sense at all.

Without the ability to organize photos Chevereto would be useless to a very large portion of the people whom actually use for more than just memes. Imagine you wanted to upload your photos from your last vacation in Mexico, do you really want them to be in the same "folder" as your photos from your last birthday? Of course not, it would be a complete pain in the arse to locate the photos you wanted at a later date and forcing you to sort through god knows how many just so you can share your vacation with your friends.

Even the largest of social media sites like Facebook allow pictures to be organized, not to mention huge image hosts like imgur.

Instagram is a unique animal and even so there are numerous 3rd party solutions for creating albums/collections for your Instagram uploads...its far from non-existent.

Each to their own.
 
I will love to have albums in Instagram. Just my 2 trolling cents.
 
As photo present site for photographers we use albums everday. So everyone has his own ideas how to use Cheverero 😉
 
I will change the default order to alphabetical for albums in forms. Let's see how it goes.
