add function for file upload(zip,rar,exe)

hi, can i make some change on Chevereto for let users upload file like zip,rar,exe ?

my first question is, if then have some ethics problem or objection to do it ?
and the second question, if someone try to do it or can tall me something about this processes.

Can anyone help or guide me, aim php developer but will be happy if exists a shortcut..

If you know some PHP yes, you can tweak the system to allow any kind of file upload. But the file checks are only made for image types.
