404 error when retireving image

Hey there... i just installed latest version of chevereto, After i uploaded it, i checked inimages folder.. i could see the images though,

/image/P

Not Found
 
The requested URL /image/P was not found on this server
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.



Changed the salt,added Db details/ and changed admin pass,, anything else,, should i do.. pls help/

ps:I ran the testtool, it said it would work..
 
Probably you don't have mod_rewrite enabled. What is your site URL?
 
Yep, after seeing your site Im sure that is a mod_rewrite error. Try to edit the Chevereto root .htaccess file to reflect this:

RewriteBase /

Make sure that this rule doesnt contain a "#" at the begining. If this doesnt work it means that you need to enable mod_rewrite in your server (ask for this at your hosting company or server administrator)
