вчера с утра было 100 пользователей, сейчас уже 250.
подозреваю что их кто-то регистрирует с помощью программы.

 
When using a system where users needs to check the email addresses you will get from time to time those mail delivery issues because there are people who doesn't use a real email address. Is normal, but if you mind about it use Mandrill SMTP.
 
у меня на сайте 100 посещений и 150 регистраций пользователей.

не совсем точно сказал, за сутки. Просто вопрос откуда резко пошли регистрации?
