Warning Message for Adblock Installed

Some visitors have adblock installed in their browser so if they visit the image URLs, banners/advertisements will be blocked and ad revenue will be affected.

Can you come up with a warning message that says "You have adblock installed, disable it to view the image... blah blah blah (message should be customizable), you will be redirected to another page in 10 seconds..." Then the visitor is redirected to an URL of our choice.

Basically the function of the adblock warning message also blocks the image to be displayed.

I'm currently using a little JavaScript & CSS in the header template file for this, where you'd you wanna redirect a visitor to though? I just display a message in place of the advert.

You could use something like this or this here.

"Not a direct answer, but I'd put the message behind the ad to be loaded... rather that trying to detect it, it'd just show up when the ad doesn't." Source
