Specify content (image/album) sorting logic more granularly

Describe your feature request
I believe it would be helpful to have more influence over the logic around what items are selected for a given context.

currently it seems like there's an imbaked default of 'last uploaded' but the viewer may specify a different sort mechanism.

I'd like to be able to specify the default sorting logic

I'd like to be able to alter the sorting logic based on user logged in or not

I'd like to be able to sieve content by
- Depth
(top-albums only)
(sub-albums only)
(depth-max X)

- Association
(do not show albums with content from (user/category/tag) )
( only show albums with content from (user/category/tag) )

- Age
(bias images (newer/older) than (timeframe) to be X% of the content shown )

I'd like to be able to sort by
  • most_content
  • least_content
  • content type
  • rank
  • is_featured
  • tag
  • age
  • name
  • filename
  • Popularity
  • views
... somehing else?

I'd also like a pony. 🙂
