Rich links not working, no media previews

🎯Description of the issue

Most of the time, posting links to Discord shows no link previews. They show up extremely rarely, but even the times it does work usually can't be reproduced with the same link. I think the problem is with the metadata, but I could be wrong.

Here's a few relevant links:
Rich link check of a direct image link: https://richpreview.com/?url=https://dahl.pro/images/2018/12/09/Raindrops.png
Rich link check of the image page: https://richpreview.com/?url=https://dahl.pro/image/raindrops.CKOF

Interestingly, most of them show up OK in the image page example, but I still don't get previews in Discord with those, could it have something to do with "! og:image dimensions are advised to be at least 300x200 pixels for optimal viewing, your og:image dimensions are x pixels"?

I would like to somehow fix the direct image links too, but as of now neither work.

Worked just fine before I moved to TMD Hosting. I'm not sure if it's because of the hosting or one of the other changes I've made since moving it there, I didn't test rich previews right away.

What I've done since setting it up:
-Configured dashboard settings in Chevereto
-Got a let's encrypt security certificate and installed it to the domain
-Made http requests rewrite to https with a .htaccess edit
-Enabled HSTS
-Edited the header.php (copy in overrides) to add a new fourth button and make the explore button a direct link in the header

▶🚶‍Reproduction steps
  1. Upload or take the link of just about any image from https://dahl.pro
  2. Try to paste it in Discord, haven't tried other social media, but tineye didn't find any image when I tried that
  3. Usually, no preview shows up
😢Unexpected result

Rich media previews won't work, links go directly to image and work well in browser.

None that I know of.

I don't know if there're are og:metadata for a image direct link. I don't think so.
With your second Link there're enough og:metadata to shown up.

If you want to figure out if its a discourd issue, put the link in a tweet. Its the same schema.

Huh, you're right about direct image links not having any metadata, just checked on Imgur. That almost makes it weirder that Imgur works while my links don't. I wonder if there's something else about my setup that's tripping it up, but I really don't know what it might be.

Okay it randomly just works today. I was too hasty when deciding something was broken, nameservers and DNS stuff probably just had to propagate properly to get everything working properly.
