Max Upload Size Recommendations

What would you guys recommend the max upload file size be set to? I don't want it to be too high but not low enough that you can't upload most photos.
 
I set mine to 128MB and I just run on a $5 month VPS, no one really uploads massive images anyway, had a few around 100MB mark but most are below 10MB I find.
