Describe your feature request
I would like to request the ability to set privacy controls on a per-file basis (for images, videos, etc.), completely independent of albums. Currently, users should be able to change the visibility of a single file at any time. For example, if I upload an image and share the link publicly, I want the ability to later mark that specific file as "Private" to revoke public access without having to delete the file from my account entirely. This ensures the file remains safely stored in my account but is no longer accessible via the previously shared link.
Where did you see this?
This is a common feature in many major cloud storage and media hosting platforms (such as Google Drive, Imgur, and Dropbox). They allow users to toggle link sharing or visibility status on and off for individual files, giving users precise control over their content's privacy.
Community interest
While I don't have specific forum links to share right now, granular privacy control is a highly expected feature for any modern media hosting platform. Many users need the flexibility to temporarily share a specific image or video and then hide it later without losing their personal copy or being forced to organize it into a private album.
