Looking to replace kTools PhotoStore

When one of the developers died the photo platform I was using slipped into limbo. It's still working but who knows when it will stop. So the search is on for a replacement. What I think was unique to PhotoStore (not to be confused with the other PhotoStore out of Russia) was the ability for users to have unique passwords and for galleries to be restricted to defined groups of users. I could set up multiple groups, Client Group 1, Client Group 2, etc and assign individuals to different groups. I could also manually confirm a new user for extra access control. It also had limited commerce functions, but no gateways to order and have a product delivered (that was OK since downloads are more common, but it would be nice to have. The Russian PhotoStore has that but not the client access controls I need).

Are there any former kTools users who have found happiness with Chevereto?
