Language subdomain nightmares.

Hi Chevies,

I have created subdomains for all the languages I wish to use and they're pointing to the same script location.

I have also enabled language subdomains:

1) The problem is that when I access my site through any of the language subdomains, it's in English unless I change the language by ?lang=. Why does the subdomain doesn't impact the language? The language only changes when I add ?lang= to the URL irrespective of what the URL bar says

2) Furthermore, when accessed via a subdomain, the site's language selector hrefs are sub-subdomains, which obviously won't work because I have to pre-configure subdomains.

I have enabled CORS and the rest of my .htaccess is pretty much stock.

Can anyone please help?

What's the difference between creating the appropriate subdomains or having a wildcard domain? My host doesn't support wildcard domains so I had to create them beforehand.
script uses wildcard for it's CORS function, so if your host do not support it. Then you cannot use this feature. So creating the subdomains manually won't make it work.
