It appears that $config['flood_report_email'] has a invalid email address

Everything was working fine until today, nothing was changed to the config or to the server, it just randomly stopped working. I tried changing the email, same problem, so I commented the email validation from functions.php and now it's working again.

edit: prolly a dns issue, not sure why, nameservers are fine but can't ping either.

edit2: yup, dns was fucked up, not sure why but a server reboot did the work.
