This feature is very important to become daily good traffic from Search Engines, specially on photos which are shown as file name in title of the page. - File Name seo (done)
The next thing is alt text in the code of the pictures, its there any, or it is automaticly generated while uploading files, like replacing the alt text with original name of the pictures?
And last very important thing is Image Sitemaps, specially because when people is earning some money trough AD services on their Image Hosting sites, i think this is good method to bring some traffic to your subpages where your ads are placed.

Well, these Google videos are 2 resp. 4 years old, and the bottom line is: sitemaps are important ... at least 2-4 years ago 🙂
