Hi
I have a big wish for a feature. I wish you could implement GPS position field to a image. And a showpage showing images on a map.
When a user uploads images, then the users could have en option to write longitude and latitude in two fields, or se a marker on a map.
The showpage, should shows all the images with GPS data on a map.

Two ways to add the GPS position:
1) EXIF metadata.
2) If the image don't have EXIF metadata, then the user can select to:
2.1) Write longitude and latitude position
2.2) Set a pin on a map

So in itself the idea is okay. But somehow I doubt that many would use it.
But who knows.

Taking the GPS coordinates from the Exif data and then displaying a map on request is the better solution.
Entering the data manually is nonsense for most users.

If the picture is not provided with the coordinates in Exif, the creator of the picture may not want to reveal its origin to the public.

Hi
Many toursites, or communitysites uses pictures on a map. That is why I asked about this feature.
And most of these site I have try to use are using EXIF and manual pionpointing.
This is a great feature for community and tourism sites.
