explore/recent images

When you go to the /explore/recent images and you click on the image, it opens the image in a full page.

Is there a way to change this to have it open up on the image url? /image/4ZrY and so on.

Looking in settings I don't see anything, so I am guess this has to be hard coded somewhere.

Does anyone know where, what file has to be edited and where that file is?
