Ewww Image Optimizer is... (drumroll please) an image optimization service! And also works as CDN for images. It would be great if the service could be integrated to convert images to Webp format and distribute the photos from the CDN.

I got the deal from AppSumo and using the wordpress plugin and so far works pretty well.
