Describe your feature request
I would like Chevereto to support Bitcoin Lightning zaps/tips
The software already has a like system, so this would be a natural extension, allowing creators to receive instant, borderless micro-payments directly from viewers.
Suggested implementation ideas:
Add a “Zap” or “Tip” button next to the existing Like button.
Allow the admin (and/or users) to attach a Lightning Address (e.g., name@domain.com) or a LNURL-pay endpoint to their account.
When a visitor clicks the Zap button, Chevereto can open a simple popup showing:
Lightning invoice
QR code
Or delegate to the user’s Lightning wallet (wos, Alby, Phoenix, Zeus, etc.)
(Optional) Support Nostr zaps, since most modern Lightning wallets already support Nostr-based tipping.
Where did you see this?
This is widely used across Bitcoin/Nostr apps:
Zap.stream – livestreaming zaps
Nostr clients (Amethyst, Primal, Iris) – all support zaps natively
These platforms show that instant micro-tipping dramatically increases engagement.

Bitcoin Lightning and Nostr zaps have become extremely popular in the creator economy.
