HTTP 429 means rate limit.

The Chevereto API is metered, not unlimited. The API is rate limited to:
  • 10 Requests/minute
  • 40 Requests/hour
  • 80 Requests/day
  • 160 Request/week
  • 1000 Requests/month
  • 2000 Request/trimester
This restriction has been enforced forever, we do this because a bunch of IPs are always hitting the API and degrading the service for everyone else. Get another IP and chill your horses.
 
Rate limiting only concerns API usage, not the download link from chevereto.com/panel so you can still manual install it.
