EXIF data question - Ring Magazine

RingMagazine

Chevereto Noob
Hi

We at Ring Magazine are looking at Chevereto as a replacement for our existing boxing image archive.

We have downloaded the free trial and installed it on a server to test drive it. We have approximately 20GB worth of existing images all with EXIF data. When we import images into Chevereto it picks up some of the EXIF fields, but not them all. We have a few fields like Title, Headline, City, State that we use extensively in all our images - but these aren't picked up in the Chevereto upload processes. This means we can't search our archive properly as it means things like Boxer Name is missing.

Is it possible to include these EXIF fields? Apologies if this is something that I have just missed in the documentation. Many thanks in advance.

Chevereto stores all exif fields in one single DB field (it doesn't store them in a friendly way for the DB).

Then in the theme you can customize the exif output data.
