After upgrade, upload/deletion is not working

I'm unable to delete the images from the admin dashboard after the upgrade. Initially my website showed blank screen. Then as per your instructions I reuploaded the themes directory and upgraded the PHP version to 5.6. Now I'm unable to delete some of the images uploaded by people.

Then I tried uploading an image. And the upload failed as well and showed an error message.
