Hi, I am trying to add a Vultr SFTP storage instance, I have created the server with serverpilot and can login with an SFTP client on desktop no problem.

I have created the following DNS records,

img.imgrpost.com. IN CNAME imgr.imgrpost.co
imgr.imgrpost.com. IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (Vultr IP address)

Server path is same as I use in SFTP client to connect directly to the folder I created.

My URL in the Chevereto "Add Storage" is https://img.imgrpost.com/

But I get the error "Can't insert storage. Error: Can't change dir in CHV\Sftp::put"

Lost now.
Thanks

Check if the ftp path is correct, you should use the same path that you get when you connect to that server.

You must use the complete path.

/srv/users/serverpilot/apps/«your app name»/public/«your image folder»

Also, try without SSL on your sub url (your sub domain might not be configured for https)

Thank you that worked, now another problem, the images don't show, they are uploaded to the SFTP storage ok I can see them, but nothing on the site, all links created just don't work. do my DNS records look ok? I have changed them to

i.imgrpost.com. IN CNAME v.imgrpost.com
v.imgrpost.com. IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (Vultr IP address)

Chevereto "Add Storage" url is set to https://i.imgrpost.com/

(I have tried http also)

Your cname doesn't even works.

If you have issues with your domains please refer to your DNS zone configuration.

Do I need the CNAME record? will it work with just an A record pointing to the SFTP server?
