Topic: Image short links without url shorten service

Hello, i was using a premium version of another image hosting site which was automatically provided short urls without asking the user.

The directory for the images was for example http://mysite.com/img/image.png
and it was making it http://mysite.com/?di=214 which could be viewed inside image tags like [ img] on bbcode or <img src="">

How can i make such url shortener without using bit.ly and such services?
I can provide to rodolfo the upload.php to check it up and help the community with such short links or whoever wants to try it himself.

To use an url shortener you need a database.

One of the primary points of Chevereto NB 1.9 and 2.0 it is that it doesn't use any.

If you are still willing to have a shortener, I will glady make you one for a small fee.

I want it, but dont have the time to get in the bank to deposit money so i'll request ya later for it
