This is a realy good idea, you can se the working one here http://www.zemgy.com/
But there product is to comlicated with admin stuff etc. I don't need all that additional functions.

Is it possible to do in a same way ?

I think this could be done easily by using uploadify. uploadify is an open-source multi-upload using jquery and ajax+flash.
Currently its the best solution i know.

Chevereto is also open source. That means that if you want to collaborate, you can do it without ask.
Since I don't have any plans to improve Chevereto, you are welcome to do it yourself.

Well Rodolfo is creating a premium version of the script which includes a lot more features. This new script won't be free though.

That's right... But the NB will be developed also. I'm thinking on making themes and posibly multiuploader. But that will depens on the success of the commercial script.
